AKAM 2 is operated by AKAM as geotechnical barge, AKAM2 is permanently mobilized and can be rapidly deployed to location in Persian Gulf and Oman sea. 2000DWT AKAM2 Barge is equipped for geotechnical site investigation including heave compensated drilling rig, down-hole sampling and PCPT system, offshore laboratory, positioning Equipment such as DGPS, Gyro and telemetry, 4-point Hydraulic anchor mooring, crane and required accommodation for crew and personnel. Barge has been   inspected by GL and ICS and it is fully comply with the applicable requirements of IMO and IACS rules and regulations. Classification and Statutory certificates has been issued by ICS.
